Pretty little Rohrbaugh knockoff there!

I got to look at it at the NRA show.  Think Kel-Tec and Ruger, definitely not anything close to what we're use to!  I will say that it is a whole lot cheaper and looks it.  I guess it is true, "You get what you pay for."

Sad to hear.  I had a Keltec PM9 that rattled like a tin can with a marble in it, had continuous feeding issues even after a trip back to Keltec...needless to say I traded it off...hate to think the R380 clone is that cheaply made.

I'm not surprised in the least.

The RM380 will be a monumental success - a small gun that is NOT a jam-a-matic. It's a true DA, and not one of those plastic shoot-yourself-in-the-foot toys

It probably will. The masses tend to gravitate towards the exceptional per price point. Most of them who purchase the RM380 won't even know the R9 existed over ten years earlier.

Eric glad you are doing something on the forum. The loyal fans need you there. I know the days of shooting sub guns with Peyton in the desert are gone but we some of us still carry a Stealth everyday. Shot mine this morning. I know a little of what you and Karl went through how long you struggled in a labor of love. Hopefully Remington will keep it going.

Welcome to the forum T.A.P.S.  There will never be any more R9's than exist now...the RM may turn out to be a good pistol, hope so anyway, but it won't be a real Rohrbaugh.  Watch the prices continue to rise as people realize this.
