Title: R9 Elite on GunBroker
Post by: BlueC2 on May 02, 2014, 10:07:29 PM
I love Elites and you don't see  them for sale that often (other than that same guy who has been trying to get $3500 for like 5 years).

Anyway - no affiliation. It is a steal at its current price.

Awesome price.  I'll never sell mine (the #2 Elite ever made), but this is a great price if it's all legit.

It is also proof that guns did not leave the factory in anywhere near sequential order according to SN. I have the 1st Elite made #R2222 and the gun in this listing is #R1547.

It does not even appear to be an early elite. The early elites had the standard grips not the upgraded Hogue Extreme grips like this one. My early Elite also has the top of the sights polished and the mags bead blasted - something they stopped doing on the later Elites.

Duane on your #2 are the top of the sights polished?

Wow $877 - someone stole that gun. I got to the range today with mine and they are worth every penny.

Hopefully someone from the forum won.

Times of uncertainty are the breeding grounds of bargains.
