I traded for this R9s (SN R3xx) from Murray, a longtime respected member here, several months ago to have as a matching, second Farmingdale to go with one I bought 3-4 years ago (SN R1xx), and to get Murray's high quality pocket holsters.
The original trade listing thread can be found here: http://www.rohrbaughforum.com/YaBB.cgi?board=Classifieds;action=display;num=1244894695
The holsters include (all pics in order below):
1 Milt Sparks PCH in black elephant ($75)
1 Ron Graham Maverick in brown ostrich ($110)
1 Ron Graham Kentucky in brown ostrich ($110)
1 Ron Graham Maverick in leather (horsehide - $60)
I have not shot or otherwise used the gun, but inspected it closely upon purchase, and knowing the R9's well can say that it is functionally flawless. It has slept in my safe, conversing in its waking hours with a HK P7 (Sterling), its closest neighbor. Now another high end pistol (a Wilson spec-ops 9) I've had on order will be arriving in a few weeks, I don't have the cash for it, but I want it a little more than I want to keep two Rohrbaughs.
As I recall from discussions with Murray, the original owner, this pistol has 78 rounds shot through it (again, none by me) and was rarely carried by him, none with any of these new holsters. I tried carrying in the elephant pocket holster a couple of times, but I am a lefty, and while I consider myself ambidextrous, I was overly ambitious in that regard when I acquired them from Murray, so I am sticking with the only lefty holster I have for my other R9s.
The pocket holsters alone cost $355. All are brand new and unused, and the 3 exotic skinned holsters have a pretty long wait--you could easily resell any you don't want on this forum. The R9s has a minor spot 'neath the trigger guard where the finish has rubbed slightly shiny, and a couple of very minor imperfections on the slide, nothing that digs into the finish though--I'd call it 98%. The gun comes with the original box and papers, original CF grips, three magazines, extra recoil springs, and other spare parts--perhaps all most people would ever need for the "carry a lot, shoot a little" pup. At least $50 in parts when you consider the extra magazine.
I'd say a fair price for all is $1350 shipped, the R9s to your FFL, the holsters to you directly. I have quite a few sales on glocktalk under the name "clydeglock" with a perfect reputation. Over the years I have read here a lot, posted little. Please ignore the seacamp in the photo, it is Murray's, not mine, so it is not part of the sale. No sales to CA, can't ship without signed FFL certificate from receiving transfer dealer.

If you are interested in selling the holster only I'll take the;
1 Milt Sparks PCH in black elephant ($75)
Thanks.

Post updated to provide better pics. Mike, if you're out there, I am keeping the deSantis holster for use with my other R9s while running.
If I decide to part out the holsters from the R9s, it looks like there are dibs on all but the leather holster already.

Okey-dokey...I have the exotic holsters committed to others IF I break up the sale, so if anyone is interested in gun only, I'll sell the R9s, original box, etc., w/three mags, extra parts (mostly springs), the leather Ron Graham Maverick holster, and even a DeSantis pocket holster for $1050 shipped.

aaaaggghhh!!!.....this is enticing!
Bloody economy!...or I'd be all over this!
Will someone buy this so I don't have to look at it anymore please....

I know the feeling. Even with the "R", I have been close to sending the PM. Still fighting that one. Maybe Corey has bought it.

After PMing with Corey a few days ago...its still available from what I understand
-
Nope, not bought it. :-[ I only had a Seeamp 380 trade offer going on this end. Seller says "cash is king" on this pup!!!
-
Our Local Rohrbaugh dealer here has (5) 380 Rohrbaughs
I guess it is getting around how hard it is to find 380 ammo.
That is a shame too, I would love to get a 380 for my wife.

Sorry crew, but I am doing cash only to get funds for the Wilson Combat Spec-Ops 9. However I am now breaking up the sale, so on the 3 exotics I have guys here on the forum I have gotten back to who will probably take them. As far as the rest: the R9s, 3 mags, spare parts, leather RG Maverick, and even a soft pocket DeSantis, I'll let it all go for $1050 shipped, the gun to your FFL, the holsters to you. Basically, that is $1000 plus shipping.

gpa. Welcome to the Forum. Looks like congratulations are in order for buying the R9 and a good buy it was. Let us know what you think of it when it arrives. You will be pleased, for sure.
-
This will be my first Rohrbaugh, and I'm looking forward to it's arrival. I've been a long time Seecamp carrier and am anxious to try out the R9.
-
Welcome and enjoy. It should serve you well.
-
My apologies for not posting sooner, but pending funds the R9s is gpa's.
-
Just wanted to rep Johnny. I received two of the holsters yesterday and they look great!
Now I can get rid of that POS Desantis nemesis that seemed to hate my R9's finish.
-
Just wanted everyone to know that I have received the R9 and want to thank clydep7 for a smooth transaction. The R9 is everything I hoped it would be, and the holsters are an added bonus! I will give a range report as soon as I get a chance to try this baby out. Thanks again clydep7 ! ;D
