Out of curiosity, what made you decide to go sightless?

Point shooting with the Pup at 7 yds or less is easy and accurate with practice(unless you plan on 50yrd shots?!#%?). In archery, we called a similar exercise..."instinctive". It's not for everyone but I love it. Nice! R

That is an example of melding beauty, form, and function.  Congratulations!

It's a slippery slope, the little pups tend to multiply..........

Tom:

I thought you might get a kick out of Eric Rohrbaugh's new screen saver on his office computer:

His comment in an e-mail to me was, "I just finished building that one and sent it out to the FFL, and then to see it already in a photograph on the forum ~ Well - That's just plain cool baby."

Thanks Reinz! I have seen a pic of the inside of your safe and think that we may suffer from the same R9 disease.

RS, that is just awesome man !  my PUP on ER's screen !

you can bet there will more sunny FL photos to follow   ;)

Now to formally introduce myself..
my name is Tommy I live in Florida and run a used furniture store
I have carried concealed weapons since before technically allowed..
._ with proper licensing put in place when I turned 21 (2002)

I have been lurking this forum and dreaming of the day I could afford to buy myself one of these fine pocket pistols. Now that I have one.. my dreams have been realized and everything I had hoped for has been achieved in the chance to buy this sightless Tribute that so closely resembles the pistol I preferred over all others.
.. and my expectations have been vastly exceeded.. the absolute beauty & fit/finish of this gun is without equal (in my experience) --  I say all this without firing the weapon yet,  I will be going to the range this Sunday for the Virgin Trials ,, took Reinz'advice & offered a buddy some shots for his ammo !

Yes, they will likely multiply just as my Seecamps have (4 currently 1 on the way)
-- ( anybody want to buy one ?? lol *
* not a familiar "feeling" when handled together, the LWS & R9

I have held this gun for way too long, Sunday needs to GET HERE NOW !!

.. you guys - the active & enthusiastic members here on the RF
are what continually spurred me on to save $$$$ for this gun, so thank you.

Tomuncommon, that is an awesome pistol...you are a lucky guy for sure.  I carry a Covert R9 daily and also carry one of several LWS .32 beauties.  I have the same grips on the R9 and think that your new shark holster/belt rig will be a great combination your Tribute.  Thanks for posting.  Carry safely, carry always (when legal).

Blue - mine are just EDC's, not pricey Collector's pieces as yours.  Yours is a true collection.

Thanks for sharing!

Once I get the pistol.. would anybody consider trading blue CFG for these black CFG ?
I will be looking to either sell or trade them immediately after buying the gun.

I will be doing a number of things to this sightless weapon.
I plan to have the frame refinished in a wildly unique color.
I will be sending the slide to my favorite engraver (tasteful coverage).
I will be installing the EyePopper VZ grips, not sure which yet..

now that the plan is in play , all that remains is funding  ;D

Tom:

That's what I call "cold steel" (and aircraft aluminum).

But Chiquita wouldn't approve of those bananas being in the refrigerator:
