The picture of the J frame made me look in my safe for the box to my wife's M36 that is her CCW. It is SN618-XXX and the receipt from Evaluators Ltd in Quantico Va dated 1968 shows I paid $62.14 plus $2.49 tax NEW.  Times, they are a changing. It still has less than 200 rounds thru it, has a set of CT laser grips, and...no it is not for sale!
