Good luck with the sales, Eugene. :)
Thanks!
Anyone use their R9 as their only gun? Looks like I might be going that route. Some things are higher on my priority list. You only really need one gun, right? :-\

Thus the old saying......beware of the man who only owns one gun.....chances are he knows how to use it........... ;)

Hmmm...I better learn how to use my R9 then. ;D

Added pics of the Solo!

That would definitely be a plus! ;D
Excellent looking Solo, Eugene!

Excellent looking Solo, Eugene!
Thanks. The more I look at it, the more I want to keep it and sell the other R9. Mainly because I'm more comfortable with 1911's. I always thought the Solo was bigger, but I put them up side by side and they seem like they're about the same size. But then again, I'm going back to my issues with shooting NIB guns... :-[
-
My R9 is in the safe and my Solo rides in my front pocket. Great shooter!

I wish you well in your sale of this fine Farmy!!
There was a time not so far away that I would have snapped this up to add to the kennel!!
But alas I just gave a Bro-in-law a hella deal on the twin of this Pup!!
My other Pups have been yelping for weeks!! :D
Once again, good luck in your sale..

I have a closing date of May 1st, so someone buy this please! :-*

Sold the Solo. Open to a trade + cash for the Farmie! Sig, HK, etc...
-
New pic added!
-
Looks good Eugene, hopefully someone will pick it up soon.
-
I'm still considering the swap.
-
Hi Eugene, great looking gun...I'm interested. Would it be possible to see a couple more photos? I can PM you my email. Also, does it come with the case, mags, etc.?

Replied to your PM...And yes it comes with the case, manual, mags, etc.. I'll get better pics to you tomorrow.
-
WOW .....I really like that weapon.......I do not have enough to purchase it now.... guess I can dream :'(
Thanks!
Still available!
-
Thought this would be gone by now! ???
-
I never thought it would last this long.
The high end gun market is down for sure.
-

Don't give up, Eugene. Someone will come along, hopefully.
-
I'm still salivating over this one. I've been gathering info about an R380, but I still keep coming back here, hoping this thing sells before I have enough put back to purchase it. I thought for sure it would have been gone by now.
-
Prices reduced...Added pics of bike!
-
PM Sent, I have a few questions for you good sir!
-
I'm interested in the pistol. What is your new price? When was the gun made? Please let me know as I'm looking at several right now.
-
New price is $1275 shipped. I'm not sure when it was made, but it's a 50X serial #.
Will also sell the Farmie without grips for $975 shipped if anyone's interested.
-
If my calculations are correct it should have been made in 2005.
You can always call Maria @ Rohrbaugh and she will be able to tell you exactly when it was made.
-
Is the warranty transferable ?

Thanks Z!
As far as the warranty, I think I've read here that it is not transferable, but Rohrbaugh is very reasonable when it comes to warranty work. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I guess I've never been too concerned with warranties because I've never needed any warranty work done on ANY gun before.
-
You can send the gun in for a re-warranty.
The cost is $150.00
That covers a complete disassembly, inspection, cleaning and reassembly. They will replace any part out of specification and ship it back to you. You are responsible for shipping to them.
The last R9 is sent in for a Re-WRranty took about 2 weeks.
-
I have never had to send in a gun because of a malfunction.
I sent in an early R9 to be certain it would be safe to shoot. They replaced all the springs and the ejector. I have yet to shoot it.
-
The best I can do is $850 without the grips. I would put wood grips on anyway. I don't mean to be insulting, it's just that I can purchase a new R9S stealth, new, with warranty for $1050. If a re-warranty costs $150 I'm close to a new gun with the updated features.
-
I will have to politely decline and also request that offers be sent via PM.
And I'd take a Farmie over a new R9S anyday. 8)
-
You do not need a Re-warranty unless you have an issue. I had a re-warranty because of the condition I received that R9 in.
This Farmingdale does appear to be in perfect condition and I doubt you would have an issue with it.
I guess it would come down to personnel preference at this time. (Deer Park of a Farmingdale)
EPKPTP i agree. You cannot beat a Farmingdale.
-
Eugene, I agree. Farmies are special and I will leave it at that, unless of course you were at a point where you were selling your blood or other bodily fluids.
-
Thanks for your time and good luck with your sale.
-
$975 sans the grips is better than a fair price, good luck with your sale Eugene.

Thanks Phsimone. Tons of interest so far but no one has pulled the trigger.
-
Hmmm... The more I look at my pics, the more I want to change my mind about selling the Farmie. ???
-
Price dropped to $1175 shipped!
-
Now $1150!

You have a private message.

SOLD! Black CF Grips are available!
-
Eugene
Congradulations the sale of your Farmingdale. It was sure a fine PUP.
Good luck in the sale of your grips.
-
Eugene. Congrats on the sale of the Farmingdale. Hope you don't regret it later, however, if you do, hopefully, there will be others out there.
-
Thanks guys! I'm sure someone will pick up the grips. I'm sure I'll regret selling the Farmie too...
-
Reduced price, BTT! 8)
-
Eugene,
Congrats on the sale of the CF grips, I knew those would not hang around long.
Best,
Ryan
-
Definitely congrats, Eugene on the sale of those rare black CF grips. :)
-
Has anyone else noticed that the Black CF grips seem to come in two flavors. There are what I call the early back CF grips (which these were) that don't have any diagonal stripe pattern and there are the newer of the black CF grips that do have a diagonal strip pattern. I like the looks of both, I have the newer ones on my Elite and even thought about picking these up to have the other option. Anyway, was just wondering if anyone else had noticed that.

I have noticed that and if I were interested in the Black would prefer the early Black CF.
