I am a new member in Oklahoma. OKCshooter told me about the Rohrbaugh pistol and I did a research. I bought an R9 Stealth today. I fired 5 magazines through it and was very impressed. I fired one handed and the groupings were great. So much better than a J-frame.
Like OKCshooter, I have a huge collection of guns. I typically carry a German made 1968 blued Walther PPK in .380 acp. However, this pistol is lighter and packs moe punch.
I love this Rohrbaugh and am going to get my wife one after I let her shoot mine.

Congratulations on your new R9 and welcome to the forum! :)

JB, Welcome to the group and congrats on the new pup.

Welcome! Way to jump in, buying one and now thinking about a second. Congrats.

JB:
And a welcome from me, a transplanted "Okie," now in East Tennessee, with congratulations on your selection of the R9.
Like you, I once carried a German-made PPK. The Walther PPK is a beautiful pistol (although mine would often "bite the hand that fed it"), but the R9 truly raises the bar for pocket pistols. I've been carrying and shooting my R9 for over seven years, so long that I would now feel "undressed" without it.

Welcome also from another East TN member. I too carried a PPKS that bit the thumb web...got rid of it for the pup. I am told the older PPK's were great, but those made here by S&W are not the same.

Welcome JB.
Trust me, you'll never miss that Euro-trash - ;D
Just kidding, PPK's were my carry guns in the 80's.
But you won't miss it. :D
