A buddy has shot one of my R9's, and liked it. He got a chance to pick up a barely used R9 locally, and grabbed it. He has now replaced his J-frame with his new Rohrbaugh pocket pistol.

Good move for him, the R9 is much easier to pocket carry.

Great, bama. Always good to introduce folks to the Rohrbaugh.

Bama,
Great job! I have a buddy of mine on the line but I think he is waiting for the R45. I told him why wait! It is going to be bigger. One could be his summer gun and the other for winter!
Either way I would take an R9 of the "J" any day for conceal ability any day.

yes, I agree, wear an R9s on the right side and the R45 on the left side...........ready for most everry thing!!! ;D Tom

I wonder if I will need to replace my R9 due to round count by the time the R45 is available? I have put 97 rounds through it since last fall. ???
I hear a lot of R45 talk but have seen nothing official and no pictures yet! I will have to buy a Robar edition R45 if/when it is made.

Now there's food for thought; an R45 Robar; sounds good! :)

Kjtrains,
I love my Robar edition R9. I would HAVE to buy a Robar R45 as well.
I would guess belt or IWB would be the only practicable way to carry a R45. I can't see it being small enough to carry in a pocket.

Robar233. The R45 will definitely go on the belt, at least for me; and the R45 Robar Edition; sure hope they make one. :)
-
Me too! It will be another must have pistol. I would be willing to bet they do make a Robar version given the interest I have seen on the forum. I think quite a few members have sent their R9's into Robar on their own.
