If you ordered a takedown tool and the package arrives empty, let me know. I have heard from two members who received damaged envelopes and no tool.
I apologize for any inconvenience and will replace the missing tool.

Both of mine arrived but the envelope was ripped open from the weight of the brass. Mine are fine though!

Everything arrived no problem, thank you.

Glad some are arriving OK, poor judgment on my part using the envelopes. The post office told me they would have to charge me a parcel rate, and with that I ASSumed they would be handled as a package and not as a letter.

John. That's what happens when you assume......you know the story! ;D
-
That's what happens when you deal with USPS and pay good money for poor handling. :(
John
-
That's going to happen, for sure! :(
-
John-did you get a chance to ship mine yet?
Thanks
Mike

I've had so many bad experiences with USPS this year alone that I'm beginning to get paranoid. Right after new years Robert from Meco Holsters mailed me a shark skin holster I had ordered for a seecamp. It never showed, in Feb. I mailed two sets of original G10 grips that I didn't need or want to one of our forum members. They never showed. Then yesterday when the mailman came, he had a letter from John with my takedown tool. I thought!, what he actually gave me was an envelope with a rectangular hole in back of the envelope and no takedown tool. I feel better now that I've done my ranting.Better days a'comin. Gene

Wow
I thought it was just mine
I got mine BUT
The bag was ripped up and the tool taped inside
The post office put the whole thing in a clear bag
It looks great

I'm glad some have escaped the wrath of the (USPS) United States Package Smashers :o

mine came heavily taped in the USPS boo boo baggie, beat all to a pulp (envelope not the tool!!!)
-
John, takedown tool arrived a while ago. I tried it out and it works great! Thank you, and sorry about your problems with the missing tools. Gene

Gene,
Glad it arrived OK, the envelope you sent me arrived today.
Thanks
John

This is a follow up to an earlier post where I was ranting about the postal service. In Feb. I sent a couple pair of funky G-10 grips to another forum member. I took them to the post office, bought one of their approved, padded mailers. The lady then took the package, looked it over, weighed it and mailed it. Two weeks later I get a pm...the package never showed. I went to the post office on three different occasions, ranted, raved and jumped up and down on the guy's desk. They patted me on the head, told me I was screwed and have a nice day. Last tuesday the grips showed up in my mail box. Little stickers all over it saying it couldn't be delivered. Evidently, it took them two months to figure that out. Hell, I'm faster than that and I'm old! Gene
-
Gene. At least you got your grips back! ;D The ones you didn't want anyway! ;D And had to wait two months to get em! ;D
-
I don;t think I'll hold my breath waiting for the six or seven takedown tools that the post office was so kind to rip from the envelopes. ::)
John
-
Yep! John. You may be sorta purple by then! ;D

John,
The Special Forces you sent me was not in the envelope and the envelope was torn.
Would you please send me another Special Forces please?
Thanks ;)
-
Curt,
I just checked my records and deposit slip and you only sent payment for the shipping, please remit the balance and the Special Forces will be on the way.
