Just picked this up today from my local transferring FFL. Bought it from Arego's, after getting jerked around for a week and a half from Bud's Gun Shop (listed in stock, bought and paid for, took 9 days to let me know "Oops").
Of course I went straight to the range. Alternated testing Speer GD 115 and Win ST 115. Fired a total of 50 of the Speers, 18 of the Silvertips. Only issue was one of the Silvertips took a second hit of the hammer to fire, but this was a box from a pawn shop that he pulled out from under his counter, and the brass was somewhat tarnished. Anyway, the Speers went w/o a hitch, and they are (and were) my intented carry load, provided the gun liked them, which it did. I wasn't really working on groups, but I would guess that a half-hearted attempt at one yielded around 3" from 15 yards, certainly more than required.
Already got leather gear in route from Kramer, Hidden Holsters, and Thad Rybka. After cleaning it, I think I might also need to invest in one of the RJ tools. ;D

Fired my department's BUG course with the R9S today. 25 rounds total, 5 standing from 15 yards, 10 kneeling from 7 yards, and 10 lying on your back at 5 yards. Scoring target was the "Q-target". Score was 100%, and was the tightest group of any BUG.
The Oozlefinch looks like a well armed "Road Runner;" look out, "Wile
E. Coyote."
deercop,
Look at Corey's photo of the Hogue grips on a different string. I think the Hogue grips are nice but Corey's appear to be polished.
Oh yeah, I added some of the Hogue Extreme checkered grips a couple of days ago.

Rubbed a little Eezox on the grips.

Perhaps this is an appropriate time and place to repost a link to a product which I use on all of my firearms and holsters.

Looks great to me!! :) :)
Richard,
Thank you for the post regarding Renaissance Wax. That stuff is fabulous. I have never used it on a firearm. However, as a custom knife collector I am familiar with the product.
Just smelling that stuff makes me happy. Do I neeed rehab?

;D I know what you mean. Now . . . if this group could somehow design, produce, and market an alcohol-based product having the aroma combination of Renaissance Wax, Brasso, Ballistol, gunpowder, and jet fuel, we might just have the ultimate after shave lotion and all get rich. ;)
Richard: Excellent. What product name do you recommend?
