Title: I guess I am the only one that likes the G10 grips

Am I the only one that actually prefers the G10 grips over the CF ones? :)

When I first saw the R9 last year the only thing I did not like was the CF grips. I have had bad experiences with CF materials in knife handles in the past and just do not like the material that much. Plus, I felt that the logo being engraved into the CF material looked bad. The fiberous nature of the CF material made the engraving look jagged and amatuer-ish.

I do wish I would have been able to get the dark grey frame that was on the first one I saw but I do prefer the feel of the G10 grips and how crisp the logo looks on it.  :)

I've held used with CF and new with G10, and I find the G10 to be more functional being having significantly better "grippage".  I happen to prefer its matte look too. G10 gets my vote.

I may also be in the minority, but I too prefer the G10 grips.

PlayboyPenguin,

I agree with you.  I have 2 R9's, the first one came with the CF's.  The first one now has a set of G10's and the CF's are for sale.  I don't care for how the CF's look(they look good untill they sit side by side with a set of G10's), or handle or performe when fireing the R9.  CF's?, you guys can have em.

I'm not a big fan of G-10. Carbon Fiber is definitely better.
