Title: Range Ammo

Like most R9, mine loves the Gold Dots.  I will try to run through on mag per range trip of the good stuff.  I've been using Remington UMC for my other range ammmo.  I get this from Dick's Sporting Goods for $6.98/50 rds.

I had issues with the R9 when I bought it.  I joined the Forum, changed the mag springs, bought new recoil springs, lubed it up, got a Hedley holster, and carbon fiber grips and now it's a sweet shooting baby.  I carry it like my wallet.

The R9 hates the Remington UMC.  FTF and Stovepipes all the time.  Not a hiccup with the Gold Dots.  Unfortunately, I cannot afford to fire exclusively Gold Dots.

So for the sake of my bank account what do you guys use for "range ammo" on the R9.

i think wally world has the best buy on white box but i'm afraid they're going out in not carrying it much longer

I also use Winchester "White Box" for range work with my R9.

My R9S likes WWB and even CCI Aluminum runs through it good. Favorite defense loads Winchester Silvertips and of course Gold Dots.
