I bought a rohrbaugh today at a gun show. On the frame it reads " Rohrbaugh R9" BUT it's actually a R9S. It is the model with sight. Is this a "typo" on rohrbaugh's assembly line or did I get a fake?
Also I paid 1050.00 out the door.

This is normal - the R9s only appeared for a short time - all say "Rohrbaugh R9" on the frame if they have sights or not.

Thank you guys. I look fwd to any and all valuable suggestions.

malayalee747 welcome from me too. :)
Indeed as Dave said, the ''s'' was on slides for a very short time early on. I believe it was dropped because of some BATFE beaurocratic hassle.
My first R9 is an ''R9s" - but that one was made early in 2004 along with about 150 others IIRC, silver frame etc.
