I'd call Eric Rohrbaugh and ask him which dealer may have one in stock.  He will tell you which dealers he has shipped orders to most recently.  This is how I was able to acquire mine only 48 hours after deciding that I "had to have one" ;D.  Good luck.

I'd also start with a call to the factory.

As an alternative method, I had good luck searching for "rohrbaugh" on www.gunsamerica.com and called one of the dealers (coliseum gun traders in NY) who had two in stock for another dealer, who could not make payment.  There is one dealer who is advertising an R9 with "the last of the blue carbon fiber grips" if this is of interest to you.  This may be a hit-or-miss kind of thing as some of the dealers may not any R9's in stock, but might just be preparing a factory order.

As cool as it is to finally get the R9 in your hand, the pursuit can be thrilling also. :)

Good luck!
