It seems they are out of stock on both the hooked extension and the flat one. Anybody have any idea when they may get more in stock?

Thanks!

I have placed several orders with IDM and they have always handled my orders well.  However, they do not respond to emails so the question of when they will restock Rohrbaugh mag extensions remains a great mystery.  I, along with many others, would dearly like to know...

I got an email back from them. He tells me that his equipment is down.

His product will return as soon as the problem is resolved with the CNC Equipment. His extensions are the very best !!

I agree, RJ. The two extensions he provided to me make a big
difference, as does your holster.

Would someone please give a "heads up" by posting to this thread that he is good to go with the grips? Thanks

RJ, my friend, it's good to see you posting here again. Your Limited Edition holster is wrapped around my R9 at the moment, as usual, looking as good as it was on the day it arrived at my door.

All the best to you and yours for the holidays!

Happy New Year fellow Pup owners!

It's time to revive this thread as a countdown to the time when IDM will again offer their excellent mag extensions.  A lot of us are waiting for the opportunity to order!

Anyone have information on the latest DOA (date of availability)?

James

I heard from Bryce this week and he hopes to have some items avail. soon.  He has had a cnc machine go down then from a big snow storm had 3 phase power to his shop down for weeks and is still waiting on power crews to come approve and hook up stuff.   IDM's stuff is top notch and if you can wait on it what you finally get will be well worth the wait.

Thanks for the words of hope!  I've been waiting for some time now and can wait a few weeks more.  I just wish IDM would accept "out of stock" orders so we could get in line...

Please, anyone, post to this thread when you find that orders are again available.

Many thanks,
James

Count me in for 2 black hooked R9 mag extensions.

Bryce just emailed to say he hopes to have these in two weeks.  His website still doesn't allow "pre" orders on out-of-stock items (sadly) so you'll just have to keep watch.

As requested before, anyone who finds sales are possible, please reply in this forum.

The Mag Extensions, hooked and straight are an accessory that needs and should be available through the Rohrbaugh Store.   I have hooked mag extensions on my Kahr mk9.  They give a very secure grip coupled with great controlability with giving up very little in concealability.   I know, the MK is heavy but I never ever do plastic.

My Rohrbaugh R9s is truly a great factory gun but things like better available grips (Hogue) and CorBon specific ammo needed to be addressed.

The grip issue can be partly addressed and partly solved by small add ons such as a grip extension.    Let hope the management at Rohrbaugh listens on this one.

I just thought of something for the Mag extension issue.
I used to have a Sig P230 - .380APC.   The Sig .380 mag had a hooked extension on it and the release was a european style like the Rohrbaugh R9s.   I know that some Pup owners have tried diferent modified firearm companies mag extensions on the Pup's magazine with varing degrees of sucess but has anyone ever tried a Sig P230 mag extension ?   Might be an easy re-fit ?

Inquiring minds want to know (lol)   ;D

I recently heard from Bryce Proctor of IDM.  I told me he is still planning to offer these extensions soon but that he will not be working in his shop for a few weeks because he had a number of friends in the recent Butte, Montana plane crash.

Those of us who have dealt with Bryce will want to remember him as well as the families of those killed.

Good News!

I just heard from Bryce and he says he is going to be making his mag extensions again; "but not right now".

I wish I knew more about his time frame but I'm not going to bother him again for awhile.  Hopefully, it will be soon!!!

Watch this space...

I don't know if that is great news, it just seems to be to be a delay after an already very extended delay.  I wouldn't be holding my breath with that kind of a track record.
