My Grandfather would be happy to hear this news. It would make him legal....I remember the six gun in the holster rig in his bedroom in the 1950's. I was told not to touch it...I didn't.
Wish I had it now...whatever it was. Little town of Sylvia, just
about 30mi. from Hutchinson.
Sorry...was lost on memory lane...Hearty Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Kansas!

Indeed this is great news - glad that crazy veto was over turned. Wish WI had had same result - also very overdue.
There are quite a lot of limitations - too many IMO but I would hope things can be whittled down over time.

Good news too today - GA also now has castle doctrine as has IN. FL hopefully with their adoption got the ball rolling and I hope we'll see some momentum maintained.

There is more good news on the state level. The Tennessee Senate has just passed a bill which would prohibit the Government from confiscating firearms and restricting the sale of firearms and ammunition during declared emergencies (as occurred in New Orleans after Katrina). Hearings are scheduled for March 29 on the companion bill in the House of Representatives.
